Collaboration and innovation in practice: Returkraft's new control room

The background for the project was dramatic

After a major incident at the processing plant, where an explosion also impacted the control room, a complete reconstruction was necessary. In close collaboration with GCCD, the entire control room was rebuilt with a strong focus on security, accessibility, operator awareness, and ergonomics.

What was delivered?

GCCD was responsible for both a thorough pre-study and a turnkey solution. The delivery included:

• Video walls for optimal overview

• KVM matrix for flexible workflow

• Control system for efficient management

• Audio system tailored to the operator's needs

• Operator desks and conference tables for an ergonomic working environment

What is the lesson from the project?
