We have chosen to collaborate with 3CT because they had a uniform and coherent concept while also focusing on the end user.

At Filipstad Brygge, we find Simonsen Vogt Wiig's new offices. Sleek, modern, and forward-looking premises with a view over the Oslofjord.

When SVW was moving to new premises, they chose to enter into a framework agreement with 3C Technology, which would develop and deliver solutions tailored to the organization's needs.

For Simonsen Vogt Wiig, it is important to offer quality at every level. This also applies to their meeting room equipment, to ensure that the lawyers can stand tall in meetings and know that the equipment works when it matters. Important factors in this project have been that the equipment is of good quality and easy to use, as well as that it is possible to hold meetings on all platforms used.

The collaboration started with a thorough needs analysis, where 3C interviewed employees from the organization with different ownership of the meeting room and presentation solutions. Based on these findings, 3C used their methodology to match the organization's needs and desires with our self-developed concepts.

Solution

SVW wanted the same good and intuitive user experience in all rooms. The composition of equipment is tailored to the different room sizes, so that everyone can see and hear each other well in all meetings. It is important for SVW that the AV equipment works every time the meeting rooms are to be used and that it is easy to start the meeting and present content.

The solutions are Cisco-based with Teams as the primary platform, but they also support Zoom, Webex, and Google Meet. All platforms are operated via a touch panel on the table. The meeting rooms are easy to book, and one can choose to bring, for example, a Teams link if it is a hybrid meeting.

A unique feature is that employees can enter the room with a meeting on their mobile phone and the room will ask if the meeting should be transferred to the room's equipment. The same applies if one leaves the room and wishes to continue the meeting on their mobile phone.

The screens in the rooms display a self-selected startup image with information about the guest network, and when the screens are not in use, a slideshow starts. The screens are automatically turned on and off at specific times.

Good overview
On the outside of all internal meeting rooms, meeting room panels are installed that show whether the rooms are available or in use. Employees can book meetings directly on the panel. Sensors in the room will detect whether the room is in use and show this on the panel—even if the room is not booked in advance (a so-called “ad-hoc meeting”).

Onboarding
To ensure a safe and smooth transition to new meeting room solutions, onboarding sessions were held for the employees. They have been shown how the solutions work in practice and have been given access to necessary information and guidance, should the need arise.

Proactive maintenance

The client has a technician available on agreed days and times, who can take questions and simultaneously do preventive work to be ahead of any problems. The technician will ensure that the users of the meeting rooms are always satisfied and that the equipment always works.

The key to success in the project has been good collaboration, involvement of employees for a good understanding of needs, and close communication with the client all the way.

Multi-purpose zone
In the social zone, 3C Technology has provided a 165” LED screen, ceiling microphones, and speakers. We have chosen solutions that facilitate the conduct of meetings and live streams with an intelligent multi-camera solution.

The screen is a clear focal point in the room and serves as a decorative element when it is not in use for various gatherings for guests and employees.

We thank Simonsen Vogt Wiig for the trust and look forward to further cooperation.
